A Prediction Market User Earned $Nearly Half a Million on Wagers Predicting the Ouster of Maduro.
A trader made nearly half a million dollars from wagers on the downfall of Venezuela's president immediately preceding it was publicly declared, raising questions about the possibility of profiting from inside knowledge of the US operation.
Market Movement in Forecasts
Bets placed on the crypto-platform, a crypto-powered platform, that the Venezuelan president would be removed from office by the month's conclusion increased in the period preceding President Donald Trump declared on Saturday that Maduro had been apprehended.

"That trade has all the signs of a transaction based on non-public details," said an industry expert.

An official representative for Kalshi said their site "strictly forbids insider trading of any form."
